Dustin The Turkey interrupts Gay Byrne as he is about to make a very special announcement. After ridiculing Gay Byrne's "shook" look as a defiance of medical science, Dustin tests out some toys. Gay Byrne and Dustin dance the macarena with two toy bears. Dustin gives his latest album 'Faith of Our Feathers' a plug and jokes,
We have one between everyone in the audience.
The album reached number one in the Irish charts beating off stiff competition from "two other turkeys" Céline Dion and Garth Brooks.
As a professional builder, Dustin also demonstrates the latest toolkit for children but seems a bit confused about the names of the implements. His final toy is a hound dog of Elvis singing Jailhouse Rock.
Dustin has just returned from New York where he managed to survive Thanksgiving and allegedly spent time with actress Dearbhla Kirwan of Ballykissangel fame. He has returned to Dublin for the pantomime 'Rockinson Crusoe' at the Olympia Theatre starring alongside Twink. He has a pair of tickets to the show for everyone in the audience. Dustin presents Gay Byrne the gift of a miniature chair which he assures him he made himself. Another present for Gay Byrne comes from a mysterious person that Dustin bumped into at RTÉ. It is a book titled 'Plan Your Retirement' by Pat Kenny. Gay Byrne gets his revenge on Dustin by giving a turkey to everyone in the audience.
