A new semester begins at University College Dublin's (UCD) Earlsfort Terrace campus.

The Earlsfort Terrace buildings were completed in 1919 to house the main part of UCD. As the number of students has grown over the years, plans are now afoot to move the university to a new campus at Belfield.
