The first in the series 'Report' deals with the new so-called no-go area of Dublin's north city centre.

Dublin's north city centre incorporates Summerhill, Gardiner Street, Marlborough Street, Amien Street, Seán McDermott Street, Foley Street in a maze behind O'Connell Street.

The north city centre is home to about 15,000 people, the majority of who live in corporation housing.

Once notorious as Monto, it has in recent times become notorious again.

It is rare that a day passes without a newspaper headline reporting crimes, warnings or condemnation of the area.
