A car journey though Dublin from High Street to Clanbrassil Street.

During production for the drama 'Partners in Practice' a woman, possibly Ronnie Masterson in the role of Edna Foley, is filmed driving a car through Dublin. She and a passenger travel from High Street, passing Christ Church Cathedral before taking a right turn onto Nicholas Street.

They drive past St Patrick's Park and St Patrick's Cathedral. Following a wait at traffic lights, their journey continues onto New Street and Clanbrassil Street. The footage ends when they encounter another set of traffic lights at the intersection of Clanbrassil Street and the South Circular Road.

'Partners in Practice' is set in a health centre in the fictional Dublin suburb of Sallybawn. Unlike ‘Tolka Row’ or ‘The Riordans’ it is not a serial but a series of separate plays. Some are complete half-hour stories, others hour length dramas in two parts. This episode 'Sticks and Stones' is the final part of a two-part story. 'Partners in Practice' is written by Carolyn Swift. It ran for one season only from 1 October 1971 to 23 June 1972.

This episode of 'Partners in Practice' was broadcast on 10 March 1972. The director is Bill Sinner. The footage shown here is mute.
