Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli and Sammy Davis Junior are in Dublin to entertain Irish fans at Lansdowne Road.

Stars of stage, radio and television gathered for a pre-concert reception for the show billed as 'The Ultimate Event' starring Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli and Sammy Davis Junior.

In the foyer of The Berkeley Court hotel fans gathered hoping to catch a glimpse of the stars. They were not disappointed when they observed the wives of two of the celebrities, Barbara Sinatra and Altovise Davis, return from a shopping trip in the city.

Sammy Davis Junior says he is feeling good about playing to an Irish audience, but he refuses to reveal his set. He is enjoying his time in Ireland,

It's wonderful, the people are very warm, very friendly and I hope that they will enjoy the show.

Liza Minnelli is also enjoying Dublin and is excited about the show. When asked about what she will sing she replies,

Everything I've got.

Frank Sinatra leaves for the concert through the hotel’s back door, however he tells reporters that he is looking forward to the show and is having a marvellous time in Ireland.

Frank Sinatra played two nights at Dublin’s Lansdowne Road stadium to over 32,000 fans, each paying between £50 and £65 for a ticket.
