The first official street signs in Irish, Ulster Scots and English are unveiled in Belfast.
Four years after legislation was passed authorising Belfast City Council to erect street signs in both the Irish and English language, the first street sign is officially unveiled at Whitestock Close (Clós na Carraige Báine).
Whiterock residents had already unofficially renamed many street signs.
In the mainly loyalist Ballysillan area, an Ulster Scots language version of Silverstream Park (Sillerburn Pairk) was also approved and unveiled.
