Ten thousand traders from across Ireland protest in Dublin against a proposal to introduce a 'Turnover Tax'.
The protesters led by the Retail Grocery Dairy & Allied Trades Association (RGDATA) marched from Parnell Square, through O'Connell Street and on to Government Buildings. They opposed this tax on sales believing that it was unfair and would inflict severe hardship on retailers.
