Donegal artist Ronnie Moore opens her own gallery 'The Lantern' in Kerry.
A new art gallery ‘The Lantern’ in St Anthony's Place in Killarney County Kerry, was officially opened by Minister for Tourism Michael Moynihan. The gallery is run by the Donegal born artist Ronnie Moore, a member of the Killarney Art Group who has fulfilled a dream by opening her own art gallery.
At the opening Ronnie Moore announced a number of exhibitions to be held at the venue during the year. She will also gave advice and demonstrations.
Ronnie Moore only started painting in 1981 but has been embraced by the people of Killarney and she considers the area to be,
A painter’s paradise.
Ronnie previously won the landscape section of the Junior Chamber Amateur Art Competition and her new gallery is filled with landscapes and pen and ink sketches.
