Strong winds and heavy snow bring treacherous conditions across Ireland as temperatures go well below zero.

RTÉ News film shows snow falling at Trinity College in College Green, Dublin. Drivers clear the snow off the bus windscreens along the 69 and 51 routes. People crossing a snow covered O'Connell Bridge.

At Seapoint, huge waves bash the shoreline and spray water over the railway line. In Bray, County Wicklow, the bad weather has resulted in flooding along the promenade. At Dublin airport, the runway and planes are covered in snow.
