Microsoft has launched a new touch-screen tabletop computer named 'The Surface' which will set you back up to €7,500.
The new computer has a 30-inch display screen but no mouse or keyboard. The new multi-touch technology interacts with mobile phones, music players, and digital cameras.
Describing the new device Niall Kitson, Editor of PC Live says
This is really a computer built for people who aren't into computers. The idea is that it takes away the keyboard and lets you interact with your own media on an individual basis.
This new multi-touch technology interacts with wireless devices such as mobile phones, music players, and digital cameras.
This report also includes footage of Bill Gates, owner of Microsft, demonstrating how the new computer works.
Microsoft will initially sell the computer to hotels, restaurants, and the retail sectors. The public will have to wait for at least 3 years before it comes to a living room near you.
