A flat, thin, handheld device with the ability to surf the net, watch video and listen to music

Amid much hype and expectation, Apple has unveiled its latest product - a touch-screen computer called the iPad. The device goes on sale worldwide in late March, and prices are expected to start at $499 US.

The latest invention from Apple is a flat, thin, handheld device with the ability to surf the net, watch video and listen to music. It weighs just 1.5 lbs, with a ten-inch screen and a 10 hour batter life. The unveiling of the new device follows months of speculation of what Apple had in store.

Apple is definitely onto a winner.
