As a guest on The Late Late Show former Prime Minister of Great Britain Tony Blair is quizzed by Ryan Tubridy about the decision to invade Iraq in search of weapons of mass destruction.

In response to Blair's defence of the decision, Ryan probes him further

That's could have, would have, should have. He didn't have weapons there. So the whole thing would suggest to me that you and possibly President Bush were sold the most grizzly pups in modern history... the weapons still weren't there.

Blair responds by describing it as a decision of life and death that was not taken lightly.

The evidence was also that he had them, that he was developing them... With this man and the hundreds of thousands of people who died under him, it wasn't worth leaving that risk in place.

The argument goes round in circles.
