Over 28,000 in Páirc Uí Chaoímh for the 1985 Munster Football Final between Cork and Kerry.
Goals were the difference as All Ireland Champions Kerry beat their Munster neighbours and great rivals Cork. The first goal for Kerry came after 24 minutes when the sides were level. A great run by Pat Spillane led to a Jack O'Shea shot which came back off the cross bar but Eoin Liston was there to palm the ball into the back of the net. At half time Kerry had a one point lead 1-04 to 0-06.
The second goal came from Mike Sheehy just four minutes into the second half and Cork's best efforts were not enough to peg their great rivals back. The final score was Kerry 2-11 Cork 0-11.
