Hospital treating more injuries from roller discos than rugby matches.

The Roller Disco Syndrome is the latest illness to hit hospitals. Dr. Matthew Corcoran of Saint Colmcille's in Loughlinstown treats more rollers than rugby players. He says that many roller discos are over crowded, with mixed levels of ability competing for the same space on the roller disco dance floor.

Dr Corcoran says that for those with little or no experience of roller skating there are a number of potential dangers.
