Greystones hosts an international angling competition.
On 3 September, 1989 Greystones hosted an international angling competition. The event ran over two days and had a prize fund of £5,000. The competition attracted more than 200 anglers who landed around 600 lbs of fish mainly Dogfish, Plaice, Flounder and Cod.
Tom Kelly spoke to some of the anglers who comment on the fishing conditions and the attraction of the event.
