Following reported sightings of a UFO in Mullinahone, 'Newsbeat' visits the area and meets some of the locals who claim to have witnessed these extraterrestrials.

Cathal O'Shannon meets Kathleen and John Shelly, and Ellen O'Donnell from Carrick-on-Suir in County Tipperary, who claim to have seen a UFO.

At first, they thought it was just an aeroplane but after looking at the shape and the lights, realised it was something else.

It looked like a cloud with two lights shining out of it.

They discuss possible alternatives to UFOs such as meteorological balloons.

O'Shannon also meets council workers Eddie Bergin and Eddie O'Neill who check the area where the alleged sightings occurred for radiation using Geiger counter.
