CCTV footage shared with RTÉ News shows thieves using a high-tech method to steal a car from a driveway in Co Dublin.
The thieves used a 'relay' device to pick up a signal from the car fob, which was inside the house.

The type of car stolen in the incident, which took place near the Dublin/Meath border last year, is keyless; the ignition is started with the fob, and the driver only has to be near the car for the engine to start.
The device amplifies the signal from within the house, boosting it so that the car picks up the signal and starts the ignition.
Earlier this week, West Midlands Police in Britain released a video showing a similar incident recorded in September.
