A 32-year-old man has been stabbed to death in Tallaght in Dublin.
Gardaí were called to an apartment in Deerpark Avenue, off the Kiltipper road, and discovered the victim at around 4.30am this morning.
Neighbours said the man was living at the apartment with a woman and a child. His body was removed from the scene this afternoon.
A post-mortem examination is being carried out at the city morgue this evening.
Gardaí are said to be following a line of inquiry but they also want to hear from anyone who heard a noise or any disturbance around 4am this morning.
A garda forensics team attended the scene.
