A man in his 40s has been admitted to hospital after the car he was sleeping in was set on fire in Dublin.

It is believed the man was homeless and that he was treated for minor injuries.

The car was parked on Pembroke Road in Ballsbridge, outside the Hume House building, when it was set on fire shortly after 11pm last night.

A garda investigation is under way.
