A man in his 50s died over the weekend in an incident on a farm in Co Cork.

It is understood he was fatally injured after falling through a roof.  

The Health and Safety Authority are investigating the incident.

So far this year there have been 20 deaths on Irish farms, up from 18 in 2015.
