A man has appeared in Dublin District Court charged with possession of an assault rifle.
Matthew O'Brien, 25, was arrested after an M70 assault rifle was found during a planned search of a property in the Fitzgibbon Street area on Wednesday.
He was remanded in custody to Cloverhill Prison and is to appear in court again on 23 November.
