VAT fraud and VRT irregularities are also being investigated.
CAB suspects the motor trade is being used to supply cars to criminal gangs and their associates and conceal the profits of drug dealing.
Officers have also identified links to the Kinahan crime cartel.
They believe the cartel is not only supplying drugs to the west Dublin gang, but that at least one car has been supplied to the girlfriend of a senior figure in the Kinahan cartel, who is also a suspected drugs courier.
Industrial lock-ups were also searched in west Dublin.
