Man questioned over Dublin Mountains death released

A 41-year-old man questioned by gardaí in connection with a murder in Co Dublin has been released.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The body of Michael McCoy was found near a forest track at Ballinascorney Hill, Brittas in the early hours of Friday morning.

Mr McCoy, 64, had gone out to walk his two dogs on Thursday and a search, involving the Dublin/Wicklow Mountain Rescue team and the Glen of Immal Mountain Rescue Team, was launched after he did not return.
