An investigation is under way after a man died following a stabbing in the early hours of this morning in Dublin.
The incident took place shortly after midnight at St Joseph's Park, Dunsink Lane, Finglas.
Wesley Mooney, a 33-year-old father-of-two, from Abbotstown in Dublin, died at the scene.
An 18-year-old man was arrested early this morning and is being held at Finglas Garda Station.
The body remained at the scene while garda technical experts conducted an examination.
Deputy State Pathologist Dr Michael Curtis also attended the scene before the body was removed for a post-mortem examination.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Separately, a 40-year-old man is in hospital after receiving stab wounds during an assault in Cork city last night.
