A 27-year-old man has been injured in a shooting in Dublin.
The incident happened outside a house on Shancastle Drive, Clondalkin just before 9pm.
It is believed two men arrived in a car and fired several shots at the victim, who was hit in the arms and legs.
He was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown and his injuries are not said to be life-threatening.
The scene was preserved and gardaí have appealed for information.
It is believed the gunmen escaped in a silver saloon car travelling in the direction of the M50.
The victim is known to gardaí, but largely for minor offences.
The shooting is not thought to be related to the ongoing feud between criminal gangs in the city.
