Investigations are ongoing after a 19-year-old man was injured during a shooting incident in Ballyfermot in Dublin tonight.
The man was shot in the leg during the incident which took place at Le Fanu Drive, shortly before 10pm.
He was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel and removed to St James's Hospital by ambulance.
His condition is not thought to be life threatening.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information is being asked to contact Ballyfermot Garda Station.
