Gardaí have seized drugs worth €2.1m after searching a premises in Donaghmede, Dublin.

As part of an operation targeting the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the North Dublin area, gardaí seized cannabis resin, herb and cocaine with an estimated value of €2.1m, pending analysis.

Approximately 300 kilos of cannabis resin, eight kilos of cannabis herb and one kilo of cocaine were discovered during the planned search of a premises in Donaghmede Park, Dublin 13, yesterday evening.

Two men, aged 25 and 52 years, were arrested at the scene and are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Coolock and Clontarf Garda Stations.

The scene was preserved for a technical examination.
