Gardaí are investigating the alleged false imprisonment and assault of two women in Co Kildare last week.
The women, 19 and 21, were said to have received non-life threatening injuries at Francis Lane in Newbridge between 9pm last Thursday and 2pm on Friday.
The two got a lift on Friday afternoon from a man driving an orange-coloured car in Newbridge to Tallaght Hospital.
Gardaí are appealing to that driver and any anyone with information to contact Newbridge Garda Station on 045-440180, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any garda station.
