Man charged with IRA membership at Special Criminal Court

A 24-year-old man has been brought before a sitting of the Special Criminal Court, charged with IRA membership.

Adrian Crevan Mackin, of Mullach Alainn, Omeath, Co Louth, was charged with membership of an unlawful organisation styling itself the Irish Republican Army, on the 16th of January.

He was remanded in custody and is to appear before the three-judge court again on Thursday.
