Grave of an unknown Australian soldier in Villers-Bretonneux, northern France
A database of Irish-born people who served with the Australian forces in the World War I has gone online today.
The database is publicly available and will allow Irish and Australian people to trace the records of their relatives who served in the war.
The project was compiled by the Australian University of New South Wales in partnership with University College Dublin.
