A man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted on board a ship that had been sailing off the Co Donegal coast.
Gardaí in Killybegs are investigating the incident, which took place this morning.
The injured man was initially taken to Sligo General hospital but has since been transferred to Galway University Hospital.
