A man has been arrested by gardaí in Cavan after they upgraded a missing person case to murder.
Gerry Daly disappeared on 26 June, 2011.
The 42-year-old was last seen at his home in Canningstown, Co Cavan.
Earlier today, gardaí arrested a 53-year-old man.
He is being detained in Carrickmacross Garda Station, where he is being questioned about the murder of Mr Daly.
