Detectives from the PSNI Child Abuse Investigation Unit have charged an 88-year-old man with a number of serious sexual offences.
The man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 21 November.
It is believed the charges relate to alleged sexual abuse in west Belfast in the 1970s.
