Four arrested over Tallaght post office robbery

Three men and a woman have been arrested in connection with a cash-in-transit robbery in Tallaght in Dublin.

The robbery happened outside a post office in Jobstown at around midday.

A man believed to have been armed with a gun threatened a member of staff before escaping with an amount of cash.

Gardaí later arrested four people in their 20s when they searched a house in Cloonmore Green in Tallaght.

A gun, an amount of cash and a vehicle were also recovered in the operation.

The four are being questioned at Tallaght and Rathfarnham garda stations.
