Two people arrested in connection with the seizure of drugs worth an estimated €70,000 in Co Louth have been released without charge.
In a joint operation, customs officers and the Gardaí seized 3.5kg of herbal cannabis after the delivery of a package to a premises in Drogheda, which originated in Nigeria.
In a follow-up search, 5kg of cannabis was discovered.
A 42-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were detained for questioning.
A file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
