A man in his 30s remains in a critical condition in St James's Hospital following an attempted robbery at a shop in Dublin.
The man was working in a Spar shop on James's Street when another man threatened staff with a syringe on Saturday night.
After a struggle, a man was arrested at the scene.
He was later taken to St James's Hospital where he was treated for a leg injury.
