A man has sustained serious head injuries in an assault in Co Down.
It is understood he was struck by a hammer during an incident in the Silverstream Avenue area of Bangor at around 8.30pm last night.
A second man was stabbed during the attack, which was carried out by two men and a woman.
The PSNI has launched an investigation and has appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
