A 30-year-old man has been found guilty of attempted murder of a teenager who was shot in Limerick just over two years ago.
Shane Mason, of Sean Heuston Place, was also convicted of possession of a gun and ammunition with intent to endanger life and causing serious harm to Daniel Philips in May 2010.
The Central Criminal Court heard that Mr Philips, who is now aged 20, was shot in the head and chest but has since made a remarkable recovery.
The jury deliberated for two hours and 49 minutes this afternoon before delivering the unanimous verdict on all four charges.
Mr Justice Garett Sheehan remanded Mason in custody for sentencing later this month.
