A renewed appeal has been issued by gardaí in connection with the murder of Alan McNally in a Dublin pub last month.

The 36-year-old was shot four times in the Cappagh Nua pub in Finglas on 2 February.

Gardaí believe a four-man gang were involved in the murder of the father-of-three.

Detectives believe he was the gunman's target and have described his killing as a clinical gangland murder.

They say the gunman had no regard for any of the other people who were in the pub.

Gardaí are particularly anxious to trace the glock pistol used to kill Mr McNally.

Crimestoppers have offered a substantial award for information leading to a conviction.
