A 23-year-old man is being treated in Waterford Regional Hospital after a being stabbed multiple times in the early hours of the morning.
The man received injuries to his neck, face and back in incident, which according to gardaí occurred shortly after 4am.
An 18-year-old man was arrested shortly afterwards at Jenkins Lane Car Park and is currently being detained at Waterford Garda Station.
