A man in his 20s has been arrested in Dublin in connection with an attack on a taxi driver in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The man was detained shortly before 8pm last night. He is being held at Pearse Street Garda Station.
The 41-year-old taxi driver remains in a serious condition in hospital.
He was attacked near the junction of Erne Street and Pearse Street at around 12.20am yesterday morning.
