The jury in the trial of a man accused of the murder of a nine-year-old girl in Co Antrim 30 years ago has been sent home for the night, having failed to reach a verdict.
64-year-old Robert Black, who was a London-based dispatch driver, denies abducting and murdering Jennifer Cardy in August 1981.
The schoolgirl disappeared after leaving her home in Ballinderry to cycle the short distance to a friend's house.
Six days later, her body was found floating in a dam near Hillsborough, Co Down.
The jury will continue its deliberations tomorrow morning.
