Police in Northern Ireland believe the centre of Derry was targeted in a bomb attack last night to cause maximum damage.
A device exploded at the City of Culture offices near the Guildhall in Derry. No one was injured.
Dissident republicans are being blamed for the attack.
The door frame and shutters of the offices were damaged.
This is the second time the offices have been attacked inside a year.
