The cause of a fire at a house between Aughrim and Ballycoogue in Co Wicklow is being investigated by gardaí.
The fire broke out at around 8pm last night and units from Arklow and Tinahely responded.
They brought the fire under control but the house has been severely damaged.
Gardaí have sealed off the scene for a technical examination.
Ken Kiernan, his partner, Alma Carey-Zuniga, and their children live at the house, but there was no-one in the house at the time of the fire.
The couple appeared on The Late Late Show last week.
They intend to take a Constitutional challenge against their child's former national school and the Department of Education, claiming the school did not honour a commitment to exclude their son from Catholic education.
