Security alert in south Belfast

A security alert has been raised in South Belfast after a suspicious object was found there.

Army bomb disposal officers have been called in to deal with a security alert in south Belfast.

A suspicious object was reported to have been found in Southview Court in Stranmillis this afternoon.

A number of homes in the area have been evacuated.
