A 23-year-old woman who was being questioned by the PSNI in connection with the murder of PSNI Constable Ronan Kerr in Omagh has been released.

Constable Kerr died in a car bombing outside his home in April. The attack has been blamed on dissident republicans.

Earlier this week, five men were arrested in an operation involving hundreds of PSNI officers across three counties, but they have since been released.

Constable Kerr was the second officer to have been killed since the Royal Ulster Constabulary became the PSNI in 2001.
