Bray gardaí have appealed for the public's help after an alleged approach to a child in the area this morning.
The ten-year-old girl says she was approached by the occupants of a white car as she was waiting for a friend on the Boghall Road while on her way to school.
The girl later proceeded to her school where she raised the alarm.
Gardaí say the area would have been busy this morning and have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen anything suspicious in the area to contact them at Bray Garda Station.
There have been no other reports of any similar incidents in the area in recent times.
