A 41-year-old woman is still being held by police in Co Antrim investigating an incident in Newtownabbey over the weekend.
A 50-year-old man suffered serious head injuries during an attack in the Carnmoney area of the town on Saturday.
He died at Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital earlier today.
