The body of a 63-year-old man has been recovered from the banks of a canal in Co Leitrim.
Gardaí say the man had been fishing in the Kilclare area of Carrick-on-Shannon and was reported missing yesterday morning.
His body was discovered at around 1am and his fishing equipment was found nearby.
Gardaí are investigating the death, but say they are not treating it as suspicious.
