Talbot Street in Dublin city centre has re-opened after clearance was given by the Gardaí and Army Bomb disposal team.
Earlier, the gardaí were investigating the discovery of a suspicious package.
Talbot Street and surrounding streets were sealed off.
The whole area has now re-opened.
